About the Porsche Super Cup racing series:
These series have been created by Porsche for the 944 and 944 Turbo in the mid 80’s. In 1994 they introduced the 993 and restarted the series with this model. Those 911 had 3.8 liters engine producing 310 hp in 1994 and went up to 350 hp for the latest models thanks to the improved injection system.

- 370 N.m @ 5500 rpm
- Compression 11.5:1
Factory specification: max. speed 280 km/h (175 miles/h)
435 “993 cup” cars have been built worldwide, identified by vintage numbers starting with WPOZZZ99 followed by
- 1994: RS398001 to 8100 (100 cars) – start of R series in December 1993
- 1995: SS398001 to 8110 (110 cars) – start of S series in August 1994
- 1996: TS398001 to 8117 (117 cars)
- 1997: VS398001 to 8114 (114 cars).
